Engineering Homework

Our homework assignment for Engineering Orientation was to come up with 2-3 engineering disciplines that may come up in the future (but haven't yet). So, behold my third:

Uncivil Engineering
One of the smallest branches of engineering, uncivil engineering is a field that deals with buildings, bridges, dams, roads, and other structures. Uncivil engineers plan, design, and supervise the destruction of facilities such as high-rise buildings, airports, water treatment centers, and sanitation plants. Uncivil engineers will need to design the special explosives and devices used to destroy the rail beds for the magnetic levitation trains of tomorrow, the day after tomorrow. Soon we will be able to travel on these environmentally safe and efficient trains from coast to coast at 200-300 miles per hour, but we all know someone will mess it up, creating a cataclysmic mishap, and uncivil engineers will once again have to save the day.

(Note: it is very important that the reader understand that this paragraph was not copied, pasted and modified from the ASEE website given by the teacher. It is also important that the reader understand that this is not a joke. Third, the reader must also understand that I do not have a sense of humor, I am not tall, and this class is not interesting. Thank you.)

Jobs include:
Destructioneers, who blow stuff up
Restructioneers, who blow stuff up so it moves to another location (very precise discipline)
Fall Guys, who take the fall when everything goes wrong (things like that happen when you start blowing stuff up like this)

I want to be an uncivil engineer. I think I could fill the role of a Destructioneer or a Fall Guy pretty darn well, being the irresponsible second oldest in a family of 7, I have experience with both:)
Sounds like a pretty interesting class and prof, I hope you are enjoying it! Take it easy shorty:)
