I seem to be keeping with a pattern of third day posts, so here I go again.
This morning we celebrated christmas with Gena, Colin, Emma, Calixto, Mom, Calixto and I. It was decided that we would do it the way they do in El Salvador (Calixto's home) whereby they stay up until midnight and then open their gifts. It was pretty fun doing it a new way this year. And on the up side, I don't think anybody lost sleep the night before ;). When I went to bed, my mind was running though, so I took my time getting to sleep.
Breakfast was pancakes and eggs, and I had a piece of cold pizza to boot (with syrup). We then watched Batman Begins and now are watching The Mummy Returns on tv. Last night we watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and Mystery Science Theater 3000: Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. Yes, we like watching movies. In a couple hours we're going to go see Syriana in the theater, which I'm hoping will be pretty good. It's about all this oil business and made by the same people as Traffic.
So far the break has been going by pretty quickly, I'm already half way done with my time here.
Oh yeah! So the other day I got a few DVDs. They were buy two get one free. One of the movies they had old versions of the same film. I bought the 2004 version, they happened to give me the 1989 disc... Now I have to go back over there and tell them they messed up and to give me the right disc so I can watch my movie! It was really a simple mistake, but also one that was made unnecessarily through overlooking a small detail. Anyways, I gotta get that one fixed.
I think that's the update for today, hope everybody is having a holly jolly Christmas with their families and whatnot. I'll be back Thursday which is soon enough. I just need to get some rest before I go back to work. Wow, my internship is half way up almost...
PS-I have a brother now. Cool, eh?
