Hooray! Here I sit, in room 116 of the Best Western Miner's Inn in Yreka, CA. How might I be posting from there, you may ask? Well, well, let me tell you. Whilst in Tigard, OR visiting my man Rob, we went to the Apple Store in the mall and my mom got herself a 14" iBook for her computer at her home-to-be, my sister got a 14" iBook for school at ASU and I myself recieved a 12" iBook for keeping in touch for the next however long. In my case, I asked if they sold the display models of computers and they do (some times). But, our helper informed me that the 12" iBook just got revamped two weeks prior with bluetooth and touchpad scrolling and that I could get the "older" model if I could do without those two options (which I most certainly can!) and got a discount on it.
So as it happens, I shall be posting periodically on this road trip of ours to update everyone on life and whatnot. Oh yeah! Major update to boot: I called Mike McCorkle (of Sambica) today and guess what! He said he has a few things left to finalize and then I'll be an intern! Woohooooooo! I have to call him back Monday to get final word on it, but yippy-skippy I say! So in theory, I may go stay with a certain Crozier clan for a few days or some, then head my little self on over to Lake Sammamish for nine months! I'm so excited!
